As practice for my A2 course I will be creating a music single promotional package. This will include a music video, CD digi pack and an A4 magazine advert.
To do this I will be working with Emily Dackiewicz and Tyler Hopkinson in a collaberative process.
What is the point of a preliminary piece? It allows us to practice our video making skills before we create our final piece and explore different media techniques and music genres.
The song we have chosen is 'Whats my age again?' by Blink182. We have picked this song as the pop punk genre is open to many different styles of video. We also belive that we can relate the video well to the school setting, as this is where we have to film it. We are familiar with the song and think we could create a successful piece. To choose the song we listened to our favourite bands, this band featured within all our lists as we all enjoy the pop punk genre. The origninal music video is shown below.
